Reliable 4G LTE SMS and IoT control
The PGM2 4G LTE controller switch IoT communicator is a compact communications device for remote monitoring, alerting and control. It connects field equipment to a mobile network so operators can check status, receive event messages and send secure SMS commands without needing a local internet service.
Flexible monitoring and switching
Two universal inputs can react to a loop connection or disconnection and can be named for clear SMS notifications. Each input can send two configurable text messages and can be used for arming or disarming, or operated in 24-hour mode. Two transistor outputs support remote switching by text message or call, with timer, siren and arm-mode functions. Output impulse timing is adjustable from 1 second to 24 hours in 1-second increments.
Temperature, power and equipment alerts
A dedicated digital temperature-sensor input supports measurements from -55 C to 125 C with a maximum sensor cable length of 5 m. Configure thermostat action and receive alerts when temperature crosses a chosen limit. The communicator can also monitor supply voltage for battery and solar installations and report equipment faults, tank conditions, emergency states or other sensor events.
Installation and configuration
The housing supports DIN-rail or screw mounting for practical installation in control panels and equipment enclosures. An expander connector allows additional input, output, relay and LCD modules. Connect by USB to the configuration software to edit command text, functions and names, or program settings through SMS commands. This makes the unit suitable for gates, garage doors, PLCs, pumps, tanks, alarms and distributed machinery.
