Expand PGM2-4G input and output capacity

The PGM2-EX1 adds two inputs and two outputs to a PGM2-4G communicator or controller, increasing the available input and output channels to four. It is a practical expansion module for remote alarm monitoring, equipment control and automation projects.

Additional alarm inputs

Inputs 3 and 4 can be activated by connecting or disconnecting to GND. Use these channels for switches, sensors and alarm contacts that need to be monitored by the PGM2-4G system.

Open-collector control outputs

Outputs 3 and 4 are transistor open-collector outputs. They can be used for low-current switching and control functions, with a maximum load of 100 mA at 12V when connected as specified by the controller wiring.

Installation and connection

The expander receives its power from the PGM2-4G controller and connects with the supplied interconnection cable. Install the module in a protected location, route the cable securely, and configure the added channels within the main controller installation.
